Counselling and Advisory Team

The psychological support department at Mäi Wëllen, Mäi Wee was created in 2017. At the beginning it was able to offer its services only occasionally and as a volunteer activity performed by certain administrators of the Charity who had received training about the issue at hand.

Since 2020 and thanks to an agreement with the Family Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region, this department has been active 40 hours a week.

It offers the following services:

Information on the law

Useful information and documents on euthanasia and its legal procedures.

Support for legal formalities

Helps fill out documents related to advance directives and other procedures.

A telephone helpline

A telephone service to answer your questions and provide support.

Consultations by appointment

We offer individual or group appointments in our offices.

Home care assistance

We come to the home of patients and their loved ones to provide support.

We offer accompaniment in institutions

Visits to retirement homes, hospitals, and care centers.

Support for loved ones

An helping hand to support loved ones through the grieving process.

Coordinating with healthcare providers

Collaborating with doctors and caregivers to provide optimal support.

Specialized education

Targeted sessions for healthcare and education professionals.

Our services are free and confidential.

The SEA's phone line is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
